Twas the night before Christmas and all through the House….
More than likely, many creatures will be stirring, and doubtful if many will be dreaming of Sugarplums.
How are you feeling this Christmas Season?
As we celebrate this special day of goodwill toward others, we also reflect on the past year, 2013, and all that we are grateful for, the good as well as the bad.
We as a nation are in the process of deep change, and as we are Spiritually conscious, we must also be socially conscious, for we are all connected; what affects one, affects us all.
The energies continue to grind, there is no place for egoism here, only true humility, and surrender. We are caught up in the flow of change, whether we like it or not, whether we are ready or not. The energies move us through our stuff, our complexes, our egoism, and elevates our consciousness to a higher level, slowly, ever so slowly, and at times painfully.
The celestial energies in play on Christmas day do not portend a happy, joyous holiday. More than likely there will be many surprises, hopefully pleasant, but considering the past few weeks of intensity which culminates on Christmas Day, we may be feeling overwhelmed, out-of-sorts, angry or depressed.
The ongoing Uranus/Pluto square has been activated by Mars for a few weeks now, and will be exact on Christmas Day. It also happens to be the Last Quarter Square Moon in Libra, further amplifying the intensity of this day.
No doubt, Christmas Day 2013 will be one to remember.

The Last Quarter Square Moon occurs early on Christmas, and as the day unfolds the Moon then moves into an exact conjunction with Mars at 9 Degrees Libra (Cardinal-Air), thus emphasizing its exact opposition to Uranus at 9 Degrees Aries (Cardinal-Fire). This day which begins with much excitement will continue throughout the evening.
In addition to the Moon and Mars, the Asteroid Goddesses Ceres and Vesta are also traveling through Libra, and with their calm wisdom and support, perhaps the energies of Mars will be tempered. And the active energy on this day will be one of caring, nurturing, and consciously holding the light of Spirit within our Hearts.
Our ever benevolent Jupiter continues to retrograde through Cancer (Cardinal-Water), perhaps exacerbating emotional reactions to events that occur on this day. Venus, our feminine benefactress, is also traveling backward through Capricorn (Cardinal-Earth), we re-examine what we value, and ponder the true meaning of our gifting.
And our Queen of Heaven, Juno moves through late Aquarius (Fixed-Air) and is close to Neptune in early Pisces (Mutable-Water) thus promoting much compassion for those less fortunate than ourselves on this day of celebration. Remember to be grateful for all of your blessings.
